Seems they have changed the freerolls a bit. Now the Hubble allows only 7,000 players and gives away 72 tickets to the weekend freeroll. Before it was 99 tickets for 12,000 entrants.

I think poker stars is a nice place to play, because they have cheaper tables, and I am on a budget when it comes to poker(I am a newbie so I tend to lose a lot still). I do wish they had better promotions though. I have deposited on Poker stars more than any other site, but I have gotten more free money on sites that I have never deposited on. Makes me wonder why I keep going back. It was the first site that I ever played on!

You gotta love the MTTs but it gets very time consuming. But if you do really well and last a long time, you can turn $2 into $1k. Its crazy how many people are in the MTTs. But if you dont wanna play that long, you have the sitngos. They range from 2 players to 180..which is cool! I guess if your playing freerolls, you dont have a choice,,,you have to spend a lot of time to get the coupon or whatever to the next game.

PokerStars is a good site to learn new games. The freerolls are a little harder to cash in, but the range of games keeps you from getting bored. The background options are pretty sick. Probably the best feature any site has.

Undoubtably my favorite site, home of my new favorite game, Badugi. This site has more variety than all the other sites combined. The freerolls are tough to cash in, but if you qualify, you're entered into a $2000 freeroll. I have yet to cash, but I've come close. I've only been on PokerStars for about 2 months, but I am not done with my quest.

I dont like freerolls that dont win anything but another chance for some money. Too many people 3000 and not enough places paid.

The cash games, and sngs are gd. U might get a chance to play a pro

It's getting far to crowded on pokerstars for me.
And I hate that I can't see the buy-in amounts for tournaments directly.
Tho my earnings are ok on pokerstars!
A lot off people means a lot of fish!
First cash out took ages.
After that payout speed is ok!

see ya at the tables

I uninstalled Poker Stars.
Always feel like it's a big waste of time.
Too many people.
You have to play in 2 in tournaments just to get in the money.
Signed up in 2005, and I never made any money.
(To be fair, I didn't really play it that much)

The only thing that might make me install it again is: if a forum
uses it for games.

:bs: :agree: :vomit:

It's the best, hell it's #1. No other site comes close to members at tables at any time of day. Full Tilt comes closest and they're still half in players at tables typically. The only thing I don't like is not getting rakeback. FPP's just don't cut it to me, but hey it's PS. When you're number 1, you run it how you want.

use to play there often, since they got various tourament, but i last my whole month salary. Almst 80% of my lost were setup. 90% handing AA KK (fast play) lost, due to some stupid hands. Wordering if anyone have experience the same?

I did spent some time observing the ring game play. And i found that players who buyin the most chip usually got better hands. Even with shitty hand they will still win it on river.

Like the software in there, good costumer support, very fast cashouts, bonus are easy to clear but too many people for me, mostly MTT games go to 1000 or more players and S&G with low buy-in are almost push or fold games.

Do not play much in there.

Got a little sick of this site because of how many people there are, the tournies are good because of how much money is in em but so many people join and than the regular donkeys play and ruin it

the #1 pokersite.. yeah right.. only reason its number 1 is because it has the most players.. it is definately not because of the quality of players. I played the sunday million a few times and found that the players were just as horrible as the 5 and 10 tourneys.. well if you are looking for a game to play chances are they will have the one you want, but as for quality.. i give 5.5 of 10 and 10 of 10 for choices of games.

Just played on PokerStar for the 1st time, the tourney was super long started at 1:40am I got got bust around 6:10am and came in 54th place. Thee reason it took so long is the hour long late entry and that really sucked. They should give people about 15min to become a late entrant, I mean from the start of the tourney there was around 1500 players by the time the late entry was close around 6000 i mean come on.

Guaranteed tourneys at stars always have late registration for an hour.

Pokerstars has the largest prize pool tournaments on the internet. No other pokersite host a million dollar tournament every week. There are alot of players at this site, so it will be tough to finish in the money in any buy in tournament.
