This may be old news to some, but it is new to me: Carbon has raised their $50 freerolls to $200. And they still only pay the final table. That's good or bad, ur choise!!

They've also raised the number of players from 1500 to 5000. Again, good or bad thing?

This is a good thing for my point of view because the temptation of playing is higher ! :D

Still a super donkfest, just more donks. All in with any 2 no matter what. IMO the players at merge are probably the biggest morons of any site I've played.

I totally agree with the comment about "some" of Carbon's players. I've played there for two weeks now and have seen more people catch Quads there than any other sites combined. Some of the players there are terrible about holding onto garbage hands and hitting on the river.

I don't understand why everyone is complaining about merge. Not to be a dick, but if your a good enough poker player you'll be an easy winner on Merge. The players there are among the weakest on the web making merge one of the most profitable sites online.

Its bad it is nearly impossible to make top ten with 5000 players. They should have more places paid like bodog and full tilt then it would be a good thing. You have to run real good and/or play almost perfect to make the money.

I noticed Carbon is the same site as PDC. Which seems pointless for them to have identical site. Either way I like PDC, there are tons of idiots playing sure, but the looks and feel of the site fit me fine. I've been trying out other sites recently but I havn't been playing them long enough to compare.

Carbon is part of the Merge Network which has a load of sites which all resemble each other since they use the same software with a few tweaks. PDC, carbon, aced, reefer and many more are part of merge.

Same with Cake network, which is Cake and DoylesRoom or Everleaf which has a number of different skins.

It seems like nothing makes any difference. They increases the freerolls value as well as the players playing with it.
