Thanks a lot frost, I needed this, too. I've been playing some really good poker lately. Going with my reads a lot and 3 betting and even 4 betting people to take down pots.

just hours after this post i almost took down the same tourney but i busted out 3rd with JJ to AA . this guy was going all in a lot preflop and thought i had him where i wanted him when i was dealt JJ. Guess it didn't work out for me this time. But i took down 9 bounties this time at 27$ total.

plus this...Congratulations Mysterious R,

Ok , first off I have to say that I have been playing by far some top notch poker. My reading abilities online have drastically improved!
If you people haven't noticed in my last two posts, I've won a mtt then also made couple of final tables just falling short of some wins.

I grinded the sh#T out of this tourney to get 17 bounties at 3 a piece so that's 51$ right there from bounties. I was running pretty good but also playing great so mix those together = pwning n00bs. I probably faced this guy heads up for about 30 to 40 mins it seemed like. Just back n forth the chips went till he finally didn't suck out on me!

Sup everyone! Haven't been really playing at all and I'm not liking that one bit. With my weird work schedule and just being mentally drained always, I find it hard to play even when I have free time. I get distracted too easily. I'm just gonna take it one step at a time to get back into playing full force. But for now seems like couple games here n there will have to do. Just a quick update for all you wondering if i'm still alive, haha.

thanks you two.

Well, tomorrow is probably going to be the most important tournament of my life so far. I definitely could use 52k right about now. Haha. I'm pretty much gonna play this like any other tourney but I'll be more aware of better players and try to catch on to their betting patterns and hand range , and i think i should do just fine. I'll keep you guys updated once it's over. WIsh me luck!

Well I busted out in like 600 something place. I wasn't getting that great of cards and when I did seemed like they weren't winning any pots. My play lacked a lil and think I could of been more patient overall when picking my spots.
I got a taste of that 250k tourney though and feel as if I can really get deep in it eventually. I'm going to play it again when it comes up and give it another go.

I think you certainly have the skills. I railed you a little and thought you played too many hands early. You are probably right that a little more patience would have helped.

Well it looks like I need to find a new way to deposit on Cake. Until then I'm starting to play on Poker Stars again. So far I'm doing decent. The only thing that throws me off, is how many more bad players there are at Poker Stars.

Seems like everyone got the n00b virus going around there. :vomit: So I have to adjust and actually be a lot more patient then normally when playing on Cake. :dazed30:

What are you playing on stars?
If you're playing MTTs you need a chit load of volume to get somewhere. And yes, a lot of bad players in the micro buyins but the variance increases proportional because of the immense fields. Gl

Thought my last post was posted, but i guess not. Well it was suppose to be about how someone who used one of my affiliate codes at cake poker, ended up raking me up with $31 of cake money for last month.

So I requested to send it to my account and then the action started. Was up then down. Then at $20 I actually sold $10 of it to a friend then managed to lose some more and end up with with $6.30 .

Here comes the good part, I actually was pretty tired but decided to play a 1,750 guarantee R&A for $3.30 buy in. I busted the first buy in with pocket deuces and the blinds were already 100/200 since I bought into the tourney late. Then rebought and went at it again with the last of my money and managed to grind it out to 4th place for $154.31!
