Just thought I'd start a blog and see where it leads to record my miscellaneous ramblings and minor accomplishments in the world of online poker.

Always have to listen to music when playing online. Found these YouTube videos for some of my favorite songs by (who else?)
Pink Floyd.

Terminal Frost (of course)
Signs of Life
Us and Them
Learning to Fly
Wish You Were Here
Goodbye Blue Sky

Haha-and thanks for your chippies! I suspect crocodile tears though since you finished ITM in the 4 tourneys following this one. --TF

Watched a reun of the Fourth Annual Five Diamonds WPT Championship at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. At the final table, with 3 players remaining, Doyle Brunson limped with 3-3 and Patrik Antonius pushed all in with A-2 offsuit.

When the cards were turned, Patrik says to Brunson
"How could you call that?".
Brunson smiled that famous smile and responded "How could you bet that?".

Brunson took over the chip lead after his 3-3 held up against Patrik Antonius' A-2. He rivered a full house.

Why I hate freerolls (but they were soooooted!!). And a brilliant comment from the peanut gallery.

I couldnt believe he made the call after your raise on the pre-flop with a 5-7, then he got the "Nice Call" from Texican lol.

Finally saw Rounders last night. Loved it. Here's what I learned:

-No one will find your bankroll if you divide it and hide it all over your residence.
-If you go to jail with a toothpick, you'll get it back upon your release.
-Bankrolls are as easy to build as they are to lose.
-Being grabbed by the ****s isn't so bad depending on the grip.
-Don't tell someone "dont splash the pot" in the persons own club.
-Always leave yourself outs.
-Don't eat oreos in a live game.
-Mike can perfectly call out everyone's hand at the judges game but didnt know KGB had aces in the hole.
-It's immoral to let a sucker keep his money.
-If you're in debt to the Russian Mob, hide in a church.
-Dont play with 50 cops!!!
-And of course.....check the nut str8 after the flop.
-The #1 thing I learned from Rounders: Don't trust gamblers.

First time I have played in this tourney. Bubble was at 16 and lasted the LONGEST time. Was pretty short stacked and finally picked up AKs on the button and tripled up. Very late though-don't think this will be a regular tourney for me. Congrats to Shakes and all the other PFOers ITM.

Good job to everyone at the tourneyespecially the Short Stacks at the bubble. Crazy at that time as noone seemed to go home for a while. Stupid Ace on the flop did me in with KK. Well at least I can say I am getting it in with the best hand

Always nice to get even a straight flush, especially if you get paid on it. Took me over a year and a half to get my first royal, now i seem to get 1 a month or so, but if you play Omaha or OHL, youll see them all the time. I always almost would rather just have the straight flush, over the royal. Your likely to win either way all of the time, but royals sometimes the board is 2 scary to get paid off. Either way congrats. hope you get many more in the future.
