Hi Frost!!! I love to listen to my ipod while playing cards. I have a pretty wide range of song choices. My all time fav is the good ole Grateful Dead! some of my others are NWA, Elton John, Stevie Nicks, just too many to list. Just played in a live $1000 1st place freeroll at our local pub. I hardly ever play there, made it to the final table!!! Out of 106 players I came in fourth and won a nice case of chips. Wish I could of held on at least one more place for $100. Blinds were huge had 2 chips left, all the rest were swollowed by the blinds had 56 off suit, what a great hand, against well, lets just say i had the worst hand, hit a 6 but was way beat by pocket 10's and AQ that hit flush. I have to say I had a lot of fun love the rush off the all in at a live table, for me it's a little stronger than the online all in. Anyway, really like the music question, can't wait to see other peoples choice in songs. Hope to be playing more freerolls in april, have 3 kids and it seems like they have been sick all month by the end of the day i am so beat i just want to go to sleep! I've lost pretty much all of the money I have won on each site, thinkin I need to sharpen up my game, ya think!!!!! hahaha!! Hope to see ya at the tables. I'll be playin on pitbull tonight so to all who make the game Good Luck!!!!!

I never played at Doyle's Room as I stopped chasing poker rooms before I got to that one, so it was interesting to see what it looked like. I also for reasons I've yet to figure out have never checked out the blogs here. It seems appropriate that the first one I looked at would be Frost's, who has my utmost respect.

Good choices TF. music is good on the subliminal level with me. I like champion songs like queen and then again real old time funky blues sets my game. Now I know where you picked up your name.

Started the day with every intention of donking my $6 at reefer and deleting the site. Took the $6 to a .05/.10 ring and .10/.25 heads up and ended up tripling. After our PFO game tonight saw an OH8 tourney $2.20 buyin: (Guess I won't be deleting the site.)

Well done. I had a poor run on Nordica and just had a few dollars left. I thought I may as well enter a sit and go with them before quitting the site for good.

I was down to 400 chips and heading to the exit fast when I finally hit a flop. I won the hand, pushing me back up to 1,200 chips or so. My luck then turned around big time.

I was hitting hands and picking off opponents at will. I was chip leader with 11,000 and feeling pretty good about poker, Nordica and life.

I finally came unstuck in the heads-up but came away with a few dollars more than I had entering the game.

Doing well in a game is so much more fun than bombing out early.
