That's cool....I tried to start my own but it gave me an error message.....maybe cause I haven't achieved active status yet? I don't know. I wasn't trying to steal Scott's thunder. I actually meant to say that I was coming for him but forgot!

Thanks though!

Well I took down the bodog pfo freeroll the other night, it's posted in the other forum, and I've been playing with that money pretty well there, and kinda forgot about posting wins, cause, uh.....<cough cough> it's been a while. So here you go....

I've been loving the beginner's SNG's. Pretty weak competition, easy to make it in the money, too.

HU it was pretty tight. He flushed out back to back hands and took me out. I'm not gonna complain though when the difference between first and second is only a buck.

Good job. Played a few of these the other day 1-1. They don't last too long either, which is nice.

I have been playing a lot of .05/.10 limit here lately. Not breaking Vegas, but not losing my shirt either. My goal is to take down a big pot (.50-1+) every half hour, which isn't hard to do. I'm tending to play a lot of hands, though, and my play is much much looser than it normally is in tourneys. I've noticed I've opened up my starting hands to a lot of connectors, suited connecters, middle cards, and high cards with middle kickers. If the flop doesn't hit in my favor, I get out of the way, and if it does hit and well enough, I usually win more $ than I've lost in the recent hands I've folded.

I've found though that in tourneys I'm playing them the same way, too loose and it's been bad bad bad. Too many calls to see a flop and then folding. Chips just fly away so quick. I went out I think 33 of 36 the other night. Then my friend was asking me how I did in the Bodog private buy-in, I told him 9th. He says not bad, how many players? 9. Ugh. I played the same way in both games.

So after that tourney I came to my senses, realized my mistake, and played a 3 table SNG, top 10 ITM, where did I come in? 11th, after my all in with 99 got beat by a Q on the river. But overall, my play was much better in that SNG, so I felt better about not winning at least.

Just a little self reflecting over the past couple of days, and I'm glad that I'm getting to the point in my play where I can determine what I did wrong and own up to my own mistakes, instead of blaming it on whatever. I hope that I can continue to do this in the future, kind of be my own coach, and I also hope that it pays off.

Took 3rd in a freeroll today. Man, not bashing anyone, but the competition is a lot stiffer in pfo tourneys.

Got another 2nd place tonight. Went ITM as chipleader but fell apart. I'll take 2nd though! I gotta be careful, I'm building up my BR pretty well, and this is the point that I typically start doing something stupid, so here's to that not happening!
